CCGG announces publication of its first Investor Perspective: Say on Climate Voting in 2022

CCGG is excited to announce the publication of our CCGG Investor Perspective: Say on Climate Voting in 2022. The publication supplements CCGG’s March 11th, 2022, Say on Climate roundtable discussion, which explored how Say on Climate proposals raise both corporate governance and practical issues in Canada for companies and institutional investors. The piece provides point in time insights into how Canadian institutional investors made Say on Climate voting decisions during the 2022 Canadian proxy season. CCGG sought input from our E&S Committee on the most important factors their organizations considered when making voting decisions. The findings are organized to provide boards and investors with a useful overview on the decision-making approach, common themes, and key takeaways for voting considerations for management and shareholder proposals in 2023.

We encourage our members to review and engage with the investor perspective and reach out with any additional comments or questions.
