In 2021, CCGG was a leading and consistent voice at home and internationally, advocating on behalf of its members during an unprecedented period of regulatory engagement and public policy activity focused on core ESG topics
- Engagement: CCGG engaged with the independent directors of 31 public company issuers in 2021, including seven first time engagements.
- Regulatory: During 2021 and the first quarter of 2022, CCGG staff, with input and guidance from the Public Policy Committee, the Environmental and Social Committee and the Board, prepared 13 submissions to regulatory bodies on a broad range of ESG topics.
- Stewardship: Following launch in the Fall of 2020, 35 Members and one non-Member are
currently endorsing CCGG’s Stewardship Principles.
