In 2022, CCGG continued to be a leading and consistent voice at home and internationally, advocating on behalf of its members during an unprecedented period of regulatory engagement and public policy activity focused on evolving ESG topics.
- Engagement: CCGG engaged with the independent directors of 30 public company issuers in 2022, including four first time engagements.
- Regulatory: During 2022, CCGG staff, with input and guidance from the Public Policy Committee, the Environmental and Social Committee and the Board, prepared 10 public submissions to regulatory bodies on a broad range of ESG topics.
- Stewardship: Following launch in the Fall of 2020, approximately 70% of CCGG Members and three non-Members are currently endorsing CCGG’s Stewardship Principles.
